I'm really torn about what kind of review to give this book. On the one hand, I did have fun taking the quiz, and it did bring back memories. On the other hand, compared to other trivia quiz books, it is rather short for the amount of money charged. Also, sometimes the same question is reworded and asked twice. Example, what singer became the mayor of Palm Springs, and then, Sonny Bono was the mayor of what city? With an already brief list of questions, asking the same question twice really isn't cool. Also, in the introduction the author put me off a bit when he said if a reader finds a mistake DON'T (his all caps) give me a one star review on amazon. Come on, check and recheck your facts in the first place. I might also mention there are a few writing errors that should have been caught in proofreading. Still, the book was fun for the brief time it took me to read it.Product details

Take a trip back to the 80s. I did, and I loved it. Get a group of friends together, have a few drinks, and travel down memory lane with this trivia collection. It has a broad variety of questions, though the sport ones may confound non Americans.
Taking the quiz catapulted me back to high school and wracked my brain for details of "current events" pop quizzes. I hope I had a better score better back then. It was fun to reminisce over pop culture, although I missed most of the sports questions. This was a fun little skip back in time. Thanks to the author for the freebie!
